Parwich Lees Estate is located in the heart of the Peak District National Park. It consists of 100 acres of parkland and woodland in the beautiful Alsop Dale. The cottages are to be found about 6 miles north of the market town of Ashbourne - known as The Gateway to Dovedale - beside a quiet lane between the village of Parwich and the hamlet of Alsop en le Dale. Parwich village (1 mile from the cottages) is a small, vibrant community, which has a shop, pub, tennis courts, beautiful peak district cottages and is well worth a stroll around.

This light and airy, gable-end cottage has been turned upside down, so that from the sitting room window you can take advantage of the wonderful views down the valley. The stairs, off the entrance hall, take you to a spacious and well-fitted sitting room/dining and kitchen area, with feature timbers and sloping ceilings adding to its character. On colder days curl up in front of the log burning stove. The bathroom has a bath with shower over and is located with the comfortable double and twin bedrooms on the ground floor.

10 people can dine together in Curlew Cottage.

The L-shaped open plan sitting/dining/kitchen area, is fitted with a welcoming wood burning stove and has splendid views down the picturesque Alsop valley. The first floor accommodates comfortable double and twin bedrooms, both with exposed timbers and sloping ceilings, along with the bathroom that has a bath with a shower over.

This charming cottage, ideal for 2 people, has been turned upside down, so that views down the beautiful Alsop Dale can be enjoyed from the first floor sitting room window. The sunsets can be spectacular. The double bedroom is located on the ground floor off the entrance hall. The bathroom is fitted with a bath with shower over. There is a sofa-bed for occasional use.

Excellent walking and cycling in the White Peak straight from the door. Close to Ashbourne, Buxton, Chatsworth, Alton Towers, Dovedale, Carsington Water and Tissington Trail.

Tariffs

Weekly rates vary, depending on the time of year and range from approx. £244 for a week in Redstart (Low season) to approx. £520 for a week in Curlew (Peak season). It is also possible to book a cottage for a short break of three nights and prices range from approx. £193 - £411 depending on the cottage and the time of year.
