Mugginton Church ( All Saints ) is a Grade 1 listed building mentioned in the Domesday Book (1086). Mainly Norman with possibly some Saxon elements remaining. The west tower is Norman, unbutttressed , but for one big buttress placed at a later date against the middle of the West Wall. Parts added to the church in the 13th and 14th centuries. Major restoration work was carried out to the church in the late 20th century.
Muggington church contains monuments to The Knivetons and The Websters.
