Derbyshire and Peak District Curiosities
| Cromford Bridge and Chapel Only the remains now can be seen of this 15th century bridge chapel in Cromford. It was built at a time when travel was difficult and dangerous and here thanks would be given for a safe arrival and crossing of the river. The remains of a similar bridge can be found at Swarkestone, and a complete one at Derby. |

| Fishing Temple at Cromford Next to the chapel bridge above, is a fishing temple, built in the 18th century and above the doorway, bearing the same inscription as Cotton and Walton's temple in Beresford Dale,'Piscatoribus Sacrum'. |
