The Old Coach House is set in the quiet picturesque village of Aldwark near Grangemill within easy reach of Bakewell, Ashbourne , Hartington , Cromford and Matlock as well as the many attractions to be found here in the Derbyshire Peak District.
The two bedroomed cottage was built around 1686 , is well equipped , tastefully modernised and is maintained to a high standard with the grading of 4 Stars. It been accepted by the Derbyshire Dales Accommodation Guide.
The Accommodation

Ground floor:
On the Ground floor is a large dining/kitchen with automatic washing machine and dryer.
Electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge and freezer.
The cosy lounge has an open fire, and TV / Freeview.
Wooden beams, colour television, video and modern music centre.
First floor:
One the first floor is one double bedroom and one with full size bunk beds which can be used as 2 singles.
The cottage sleeps 4 people but we also have a full size temporary bed for an extra person if needed, and double sofa bed in lounge.
A fully equipped bathroom with shower over the bath is also on the first floor.
Services:
The cottage has oil fired central heating throughout, at no extra cost, but electricity is metered and pound coins are needed.
We have ample parking spaces in the enclosed Coach House yard, surrounded by lawned gardens and a childrens play area and sand pit.
At the back of the cottage there is a private garden overlooking open fields, equipped with patio, barbecue and garden furniture.
Fresh milk, eggs, home-made bread and cakes are available as well as a warm welcome from Rosy who will meet you on your arrival with the door key.
Tariff
The week runs from Saturday to Saturday arriving 2pm onwards and leaving by 10am unless previous arrangements have been made.
Short breaks and week-ends can also be booked in the Low Season only.
Prices will vary throughout the year depending on low season/high season/Bank Holidays, etc.
Low: £130 - £225 pw
High: £270 - £420 pw
