The tranquil village of Chelmorton is located in the White Peak of the Peak District, in an area known as the Derbyshire Dales. The Village is a few miles South of Buxton, in the Heart of the Peak District. Chelmorton is a peaceful, secluded corner of the Peak District situated 1,200 feet above sea level. Known locally for its fantastic pub and renowned internationally for the preservation of its striking ‘Strip Farming’ system which virtually disappeared across the UK in the 16th century.
