Bob Wilson Footballer - Born in Chesterfield 1942 where he lived for first 18 years of his life.

Signed for Arsenal in 1963 and made more than 300 first team appearances.

Career in sports journalism started with the BBC. He presented Football Focus for 20 years and was also a regular on Grandstand, Sportsnight and Breakfast sport before being lured to ITV in 1994 to be the channel's main presenter.

Bob as been specialising in goalkeepers for 25 years and for 13 ran his own goalkeeping school for youngsters. David Seaman was one of those to benefit from the Wilson system.

Services to football which have included writing several books on the subject have brought him academic honours including honorary doctorates from the universities of Derby and Middlesex. Now lives in Herefordshire with wife Meg.
